Pelvic floor complaints after childbirth
Symptoms of pelvic floor pain after childbirth may include:
- Having difficulty holding up urine during physical exertion or urges;
- Having difficulty holding up wind and stool;
- A sinking feeling, a heavy feeling in your lower abdomen or a ball feeling in your vagina;
- Reduced vaginal sensation or pain during intercourse;
- Pain around the pelvis, varying in severity and location. Usually in the lower back, tailbone, groin or pubic bone.
