For all ultrasounds you are welcome at Eindhoven’s largest ultrasound center for pregnancy ultrasounds. Specialized midwives make your ultrasound on high-end equipment from Philips for beautiful images of your child. The pre-echo will take place at one of our locations, you choose what suits you best. In the comment box you can indicate which ultrasound you would like.

You can have a pretecho throughout your pregnancy. A pretecho is actually a non-medical, fun and enjoyable extra ultrasound where you choose to take a look at the baby. At the beginning of your pregnancy, you may still be a little worried about whether everything is okay, or you may want to bring your family or friends along to see the baby. You can also opt for a sex determination ultrasound to see if you are having a boy or girl. You can also look at the baby in 3D and 4D to get an idea of what your baby will look like. In short, at 040pretecho you can, at any time of your pregnancy when you want to see your baby sign up for a pretecho. You always pay for a pretecho, this is never covered by the health insurance.
A pretecho involves looking at your baby for your/your pleasure. The ultrasound is not suitable for medical purposes, there is no search for abnormalities. During the ultrasound you can watch all the images of your child on a large screen. Sometimes the baby is not lying well for the ultrasound and it takes more time and effort to get a good image.
In the unlikely event that something is seen in your baby that is remarkable, this will always be discussed with you and the midwife will determine follow-up policy.
Depending on which type of pretecho you have chosen, the ultrasound technician will take the time to visualize your baby as well as possible and explain everything you see and your baby does.
She will complete the ultrasound when she feels that she has been able to visualize your baby beautifully and with high quality for you and some nice pictures have been taken.
It cannot be guaranteed that you will get good pictures, because your child's position and posture are all-important for what will appear in the picture. In any case, we will make every effort together to capture your child as beautifully as possible.
You may always bring family or friends to the pretecho. Enjoy together!
This can be done at any time in your pregnancy. This is an ultrasound at your own wish, and not an ultrasound on medical grounds. You can have a pretecho throughout your pregnancy. Each term has special things to admire.
- Early in pregnancy until 20 weeks or so, you see your baby in its entirety.
- Later in pregnancy, you can take beautiful profile and portrait photos of the little face.
- The best time for a 3D ultrasound is between 24 and 34 weeks of pregnancy or an early 3D ultrasound between 16 and 24 weeks.
- A sex determination can be reliable in most cases from 14 weeks of pregnancy.
