Everything you want to know during your pregnancy
Many pregnant women experience some discomfort in the early stages of pregnancy. Most women are tired, you may have nausea and your breasts may feel tight. It’s not surprising to notice something, because so much is changing in your body. Your baby is still tiny, but is growing and developing very quickly. A better understanding of what is changing and why can often help you cope. Read everything you need to know during your pregnancy here. Such as: Your first appointment with the midwife, what to arrange during your pregnancy, discomforts, blood tests, ultrasounds and what tests are possible, such as the NIPT. In case of emergency, delivery or concern, you can call our midwives directly.
The first day of your last period is used to determine your counted-out date, you can then roughly calculate your pregnancy term. We will use a term ultrasound to determine the exact gestational age and your due date. This term ultrasound can be reliably done between 10 and 13+ weeks of pregnancy.
If you have a positive pregnancy test, you can call the midwife right away to schedule a first appointment. You do not need a referral from the family doctor. We are happy to be there for you from the very beginning of pregnancy and answer all your questions.
As soon as your pregnancy test is positive, you can come directly to us and schedule an appointment. You can apply online or contact us.
We are happy to be there for you from the very beginning of your pregnancy, as many important changes and development of your pregnancy are already taking place then. We will tell you everything you need to arrange when, we have created a care path for this, a handy overview in which we make clear what you need to arrange at each term of your pregnancy and which check-ups or ultrasounds will take place when.
